Greeting Brother Danny,

I have been receiving tremendous inspiration,  motivation and revelation from the teaching.   I have a comment about an example you use of Peter being instructed to put away his sword when Jesus was apprehended by Roman soldiers as a condemnation of ever using a weapon to defend oneself or family members.  This situation has Peter going against plan of God and specific timing of Jesus being crucified.   The fact that Peter had a close combat weapon on his side while following Jesus certainly says something about instructions of Jesus concerning carrying a weapon.  If what you say is true then Jesus would have instructed him to abandon weapon long before this incident.   If I saw Jesus and his disciples walking around and some of disciples had weapons on their side than logical to presume approved by Jesus.  Easy to think of extreme examples where a weapon could be used for protection of children or loved ones from aggressive violent attack.  Do you think any situation warrants the use of a weapon?

Greetings Ryan,

I think is important to note that the Master also communicated at that moment, that if He needed protection or self-defense He could have called upon legions of Angels to do His fighting for Him. This is the standard I believe He has set for us to follow. I believe the Lord is dealing especially, with Americans who idolize weaponry and warfare to lay this false security down and trust Him completely with their lives! “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds!” 2 Corinthians 10:4  Blessings
