When we say being filled in the Holy Spirit, we are referring to the initial supernatural experience spoken of in the 2nd chapter of the book of Acts of the Apostle’s in the New Testament. The experience is also referred to interchangeably as Pentecost, Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Baptism of Fire, all alluding to the promise of the Father, sent from Heaven by Christ. This is a supernatural visitation of the Person of the Holy Spirit, resulting in His infilling, empowering, indwelling and sealing unto redemption of the individual believer. This spiritual manifestation is accompanied and evidenced through the supernatural activation of the believer in speaking in unknown tongues in cooperation with and enabled by the Holy Spirit.
Melchizedek was the priest of Salem (Jerusalem), during of the life of Abraham, whom he offered tithes to upon his victory over the kings of Sodom, Gomorrah etc…He was a type of Christ, in his ministry and also his mysterious nature. The scripture refers to him in both Genesis and Hebrews in this way, as well as reporting that he had no genealogy, (father, mother, beginning or end). This has led many theologians to believe that he was truly a Christophany (an appearance of the pre-incarnate Christ, Eternal Son of Man, who has no beginning and no end. “I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Book of Revelation.
What is meant by this statement is that most people believe that in order to come into contact with God or begin to know Him in anyway, that they must come through some form of religion. My constant contention regarding this, as is substantiated by the scripture and history of God’s initial creation and dealings with man, is that God did not create religion. Therefore, He does not subscribe to it. God created man for relationship and seeks him out through and by this intimate connection. The devil is the author of religion and rebellious man is the beneficiary. Religion is man’s attempt to reach God, appease Him and appropriate forgiveness and redemption through his own hypocritical efforts. I often ask “what religion was observed in the Garden of Eden?” The answer being of course, none, for when God created man, he initiated an intimate, personal relationship with him. This was only interrupted by the advent of sin, introduced by the fallen angels, who subsequently, introduced the concept of religion, an attempt to reach out to God, or the” gods” through the barrier of sin.
The term Godhead is used in the New Testament scriptures to refer to the three Person union of the triune God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These are three persons, one God totally unified in love, purpose and action.
Trinity is an academic word for the Godhead, the triune God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, originating from the Latin word “trinitas” meaning three are one. Some religious groups are very critical of the use of this term, because it is not directly used in the Bible and has been a foundational tenet of Roman Catholic theology. However, this is in no way disparaging to the validity of this concept which parallels that of the Godhead which is used in the scriptures. This is happily, one of the few points upon which Roman Catholicism attests to the truth of Christian faith.

The next, important step is to be baptized in water as an open confession before God and man that you have chosen to repent of your sin, become a member of the living, organic body of Christ ( Church ), and follow Christ, in so doing, identifying with Him, symbolically, in His death, burial and resurrection through the supernatural operation of water baptism by immersion.
Next, one must receive the Holy Spirit through His empowering baptism of fire, His infilling, indwelling and sealing work of redemption, evidenced through the supernatural ability to speak in other tongues.
